The SA_enDo Story: In fact I still felt as I was sitting beneath the pine trees of the beloved french atlantic coast, but I had actually already followed the mind blowing stories of Rik who formed all those pictures of perfect waves and emty lineups at his house in Cape Town while talking to me. My girlfriend was sitting next to me while the water of my first session down here was dripping out of my nose and we enjoyed the scenic view upon table mountain. Rik was right! Hungry and stoked I burnt my mouth taking a bite of my steaming pizza, ordered the favourite beer of our waitor and tried to give my girlfriend an idea of how lucky I felt after all those waves as a starter in south african surf. The setting in front of us was unbelievable, table bay revealled a view of the whole cape penisula giving us an idea of the twelve apostels behind lions head and the mother city`s table above downtown. The shoreline of a long white sandy beach produced one peak after the other peeling towards the sand. Cape Town definetly excited us from the first minute. I felt like being here for ages, sitting in the lineup, having a little chat with the two only guys in the water and sharing waves and stories. Since table bay had waves every day and the sandbars on the other little beaches where even better the drive to the beach became a regular occasion and I didn`t bother to surf other spots. The day we started our ride towards cape of good hope we first got an idea of these perfect settings down the penisula. I began to love this area, the swell seemed to roll in without a single break, there was always a spot with the right wind, and when it got to wild I surfed false bay.
